Research Services

Thousands of individuals around the world take CPP assessments every day. These assessment responses are used for a variety of individual and group level applications, such as leadership development, teamwork, conflict handling, and selection. These are valuable and time-tested uses of CPP assessments  -  but these responses can be used for much more.

Research Services can help leverage assessment data to profile your organization, compare your organization against a variety of norm groups, as well as design and conduct original research studies that break new conceptual and practical ground.

For instance, your organization might be interested in the following questions:

  • What is the overall distribution of MBTI® type in my organization? How does that compare to the general population? How does that compare to my industry? What does this say about my organization and the way that we do business?
  • How does the CPI 434 assessment relate to the key characteristics and competencies that my organization is looking for when selecting employees?
  • What are the interpersonal needs of my organization's employees, as measured by the FIRO-B® assessment, and what needs are not being met?
  • Do people in my organization tend to compete, collaborate, or avoid conflict, as measured by the TKI? What does this suggest about training programs to improve conflict handling?
  • Can new, customized occupational scales based on the newly revised Strong Interest Inventory® assessment be created for my organization? Does having a good match between vocational interests and job responsibilities improve performance and turnover at my organization?

Research Services can help answer these questions and many more through analysis, interpretation, and reporting of assessment data. Our Research Division also provides expertise in assessment and research design. Through these methods, Research Services can leverage assessment data to improve business performance.
